Mediterranean Villa
This project arises after a careful evaluation of the terrain’s topography, the characteristic Mediterranean climate of the Alicante coast, and its location on a mountain slope.
Its excellent location facing the sea stands out, where, considering the client’s needs, we had the opportunity to create a completely permeable architecture that highlights the landscape and provides just the right amount of privacy.
The client sought a vacation residence where their children could enjoy independent spaces. For this reason, the house is divided into three levels, connected by an exterior staircase that acts as the structuring axis of the dwelling.
The exterior character of the staircase highlights the functional autonomy of each level, emphasizing the terrain’s slope and offering spectacular views of the sea.
The interior spaces are carefully defined. Upon entering the house, we find an area that combines the living room, kitchen, and dining room, making the most of the spaces in a rational manner. Large windows integrate the Mediterranean landscape with this space, adding a feeling of warmth.
On the spacious terrace is an infinity-edge pool that blends with the sea horizon, becoming the social centerpiece of the house.
The materials used reference the Mediterranean white style and stone.
Lighting, both indoors and outdoors, plays a prominent role in all areas, enhancing colors, expanding spaces, and creating cozy atmospheres.
The modern furniture, both indoors and on the terraces, is from Andrew World.
